Grim Gatherings
The Grim Gatherings take place every Saturday night at 21:00 hours, GMT (16:00 EST). Everyone is welcome. The topic does not only revolve around Grim Fandango so come on and talk to people with similar interests - well at least one :)
When on mIRC, log onto DALnet and join #grim-fandango. You can visit the #grim-fandango homepage here. Here are a list of basic commands for using mIRC if you're new to it.
Important Commands
- Type /join #grim-fandango to join the channel
- Type /list to list all channels on the server you're on
- Type /msg nickserv@services.dal.net register nickname password (I think that's how you do it:)
- Type /msg nickserv@services.dal.net identify password so you get to keep your registered nickname - every time you get on IRC
- To join a server, type in /server (one of the below)
- irc.dal.net
- webbernet.dal.net
- webzone.dal.net
- spider.dal.net
- qis.dal.net
- stlouis.dal.net
- viper.dal.net
- liberty.dal.net
There are many other servers other than the ones listed above.
